Hello Everyone!

My name is Marissa, and I am the baker, founder, and CEO of Blondies and Brunettes Bakery. This little micro bakery of mine has been a dream since I was at least 12, if not earlier.

My mom and I would bake together when I was younger. She is my best friend and inspiration. Chocolate chip squares, aka the Blondies, are what we would bake the most of together. It was also the first thing I learned to bake.

My dreams just started forming around the idea of "tasting something that evokes a memory of happiness.” The more I thought about opening a bakery of my own, the more I knew I wanted to bake treats that felt like home!

Cake and cupcakes have NEVER been my thing. I decided I was going to venture out of the typical bakery box and focus on bars instead of cake!

The different flavors we currently offer are all inspired by people in my life. Thanks for coming along on this journey with me!
